My laptop is displaying dark edges around the screen. When I move the screen back and forth and hold it in a certain angle, the screen looks fine. I gave it to repair in a local computer shop, and he says that is because the screen’s life is over. Do I need to replace it with a new screen or is it just a hinge issue?
The edges start thin as in picture (3), increase in their size as in picture (2) and also the display turns brownish-pink, and then back to normal as in picture (1) and this continues.
