Z820
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has experience implementing DeviceGuard on the Z820.  I have all of the latest drivers from HP, and have even tried the latest video drivers from NVidia, but as soon as my Z820s get domain policy enabling device guard among other things, they can no longer elevate with UAC and will randomly freeze with either stop error "clock watchdog timeout" or it will just freeze for 30-60 seconds, and then restart.

running without elevating usually works ok, but will still freeze sometimes, usually when a sound plays, like elevating to UAC, or adjusting the volume level and getting the sample chime.

If i remove oem4 and oem6.inf (HD audio and video for NVidia k2000) and then restart, it will work pretty well but the screen is 600x800 or so, which is pretty useless. It will also still occasionally freeze when sounds play, but not often.

We only have a few z820s on our domain, but they are pretty critical workstations, certainly our most powerful systems for administration, test labs, and CAD etc.

thanks!
