t5740e
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hello,

We have made a business decision and will be eradicating the Thin Clients from our environment and will use HP EliteDesks instead. I would like to know what is the proper way to completely wipe these devices? I know with the newer ones there is a way in BIOS to do SecureErase but I am not finding this anywhere with the t5740e's nor with the t530's

And I considered using a Linux-based wipe utility but when I try to boot a t5740e using a USB drive I am getting an orange screen with white lines. Why is that?

Thank You!!
