Elitebook 8730W
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to upgrade the graphics card in my 8730W from the Nvidia FX-2700 to the FX-3700, I have the card, I have the correct heatsink but when I install the 3700 the machine boots but the display is blank, reinstalling the 2700 gives a display again.

I am aware that there is/was a whitelist which determined which  Wi-Fi card could be used with this particular model of laptop, but I have found nothing to suggest there is the same for the graphics card. I am using the latest version of the BIOS (F20).

Have I got a faulty card or is there something I need to do with the machines config to make the 3700 work ?
