My Laptop in-build camera suddenly stopped working and starting showing the following error.

we can't find your camera 0xa00f4244 <nocamerasareattached>

 

Then I tried to update the latest driver from the HP website and it showed only Cyberlink Youcam Software for the camera, I installed it but with no success.

 

I checked the device manager and it did not show any Camera list in the Camera or Image device.

Also, it showed an error at one USB driver (but all my USB ports are working fine).

unknown USB (device descriptor request failed)

That also I tried to update but it did not resolve it. I think maybe it is related to the camera somewhat (Not sure !)

 

Open changing the view setting to show hidden devices in device manager, I could see the camera listed under Camera head but it also showed an error.

Currently, the hardware is not connected to the computer (Code 45).

 

Please help to resolve the issue. The camera is not working with any application Camera, Skype, Zoom, etc.

 

My Laptop and OS details are as below

Processor AMD A10-8700P Radeon R6, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G 1.80 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.45 GB usable)
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

 

Edition Windows 10 Home Single Language
Version 20H2

OS build 19042.868
