Hello all, I hope all are OK at this horrible time...  I have an issue with one key only on my HP Pavilion 17 ,  when I use the key which should be  (  | \  ) it operates as a ( Ctrl ) key , this key is the second key right of the space bar key after the (alt gr ) key.

The key actually works as a ( Ctrl ) key when I use it so I know it is active. I feel the wrong keyboard is selected..
If you can help me can you also explain as part of your solution how to carry out your solution please.
