The power button on my laptop stopped working. I took it to the squad which told me they couldn’t repair it or even did these types of repairs so I’m trying it myself.

none of the items online as far as a power button for this type of computer look like what I have. I can’t figure out how these parts fit together.

If anyone knows please tell me. The little square piece was broken off and just loose after the side, and the plastic bracket on the button itself is broken on one side I’m wondering if I need to glue that together.
