Dear Community,

I'm owner of JBL Pulse speakers of 2, 3 and 4 (most recent one) versions. But I'm facing a problem with JBL Pulse 4.

When I'm connecting it to my laptop I can hear sound, change tracks and do everything that is possible to do with wireless speaker except change the volume from Windows built-in sound manager. When I'm scrolling volume it doesn't provide any effect on Pulse speaker. But when I'm using hard buttons to change volume on the speaker directly it changes Windows system volume. Such process should be bi-directional (at least in such way it's working with my other wireless sound devices). I tried to upgrade bluetooth drivers, tried to change other visible settings, reset speaker to its defaults but no success. I've asked JBL support to help me to resolve the problem. That's what I've got from them:

Pulse 3 has a built in HSF Bluetooth Profile Driver that enables the source like Laptops to manually adjust the volume through it's source; Unlike the Pulse that doesn't have one which is the reason why you can't use the laptops to manually adjust the volume.
Since this is a new release product, there's no software available yet. To fix this, we recommend to check with HP if they have a compatible HSF Bluetooth profile driver that is compatible with your laptops.
