Hi,

I have the same issue. I follow the above steps shown, the problem still there, “No sound card found” Uninstalling and fail to reinstall the driver. The install program cannot find the device. However, windows see it. What I do find strange, I also perform from the BIOS the diagnostic on the sound. The diagnostic is telling us if we hear the number of sound sequences performed. I did that a few times and every time I’ve heard the sound sequence correctly. After rebooting windows; I have checked the peripheral manager; I see the sound card, the details are telling me that the sound card is functioning properly, but I still see the x over the icon that there is no sound card driver at all. Even by windows troubleshooting program saying that the sound card is not found. I have checked the Windows Services the “Audio Windows, ‘the status is currently “stop,’ it makes sense when there is no driver found, by trying to start the service it posts the error; the service Audio Windows won’t start with the access denied error 0x80070005. I have modified the startup of Windows with msConfig by letting only Windows programs except security programs. Even with that done the sound driver will not install and show. What will be the next thing to do knowing that the computer makes sound from the BIOS diagnostic, but it won’t, from Windows? I have just finished a few day's reinstallation of Windows. I hope I will not do that again.

Hoping to find the solution, Thank you for your help
