Product name: HP Stream Notebook - 11-d001dx (ENERGY STAR)
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
So I'm using this laptop for some time now and finally decided to upgrade it to windows 10 (previously it was windows 8.1). After upgrading to windows 10, I realized I can't use multi-finger gestures with my touchpad, such as 2 finger scrolling, zooming. So I uninstalled the Synaptics driver and checked for windows update. After uninstalling the Synaptics driver the cursor disappeared such that I had to plug in a USB mouse. Windows update didn't find anything so I thought restarting would work. Not a surprise, it didn't work as well. I searched a little bit more and reached out to the hp official website from where I can download original drivers for every HP notebook(my driver was sp71867). I downloaded and installed the driver, still nothing. Moreover, I reset windows hoping for a fix. To sum up, I don't know what to do after this point and I need your help!
More details for broader understanding:
In the device manager, there is no touchpad, there is only driver for my USB mouse. I checked the touchpad in the hardware testing system and it works fine if it has the right driver for it.

In my opinion, the problem is that windows 10 and windows 8.1 driver paths are different. Here is a screenshot of the Synaptics driver(sp71867) default installation path. There are no other drivers in the installation path that's why I think it's not the right driver installation path. It'd be nice if you told me what's the right path or should I revert back to windows 8.
