HP Prime G2
macOS 10.15 Catalina

I'm on macOS (latest Catalina 10.15.6), Hp Prime Connectivity Kit 2.1.14425 (2020 1 16) and have a Prime G2 (Hardware D) with Software 2.1.14433 (2020 01 21), Operating System V2.060.650.

The Prime is connected via a microUSB to USB-C cable which served me well for a long time and indeed has worked fine in this setup.

However, currently I have the following problem:

  • The Prime is connected.
  • I start the Connectivity Kit app on the Mac.
  • The Prime is listed and the Monitor panel shows its screen.
  • As soon as I click on the disclosure triangle to the left of the Prime where it is listed in the Connectivity Kit the Prime crashes with the message "Your HP Prime had a problem and will reboot in 3 seconds".
  • Which it does – but as soon as it comes back to its Home screen, after another 3-4 seconds, the Connectivity Kit crashes.
  • This happens always.

Are there newer versions available? The Connectivity Kit doesn't report/find newer app/firmware versions.

Any advice?

Thanks a lot!

Stefan.
