Product: HP Officejet Pro 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I suddenly found that i was unable to print to my new HP Officejet Pro 6978 via the network. I went throught all the remedies suggested by HP, including Scan & Print Doctor, deleting the printer, re-booting the system and on and on for over a day. Eventually I realised that the problem only started when I installed an old printer - an HP Officejet 5610 all-in-one. I deleted that printer as weel as the HP 6978, and then went to "add printer" in "Scanner & Printers". No problem, the installation went ahead with no problem (previously i always got a driver unavailable message) and I was able to print via wifi immediately.
