HP Recommended
Product: HP Scanjet G4050
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I have an HP Scanjet G4050 that was working until a month ago. I usually scan through Photoshop, but that is not the issue. The HP driver is not working. Mac usually has to certify the driver, but it is failing. I get the wonderful message '"HP Scanner 2" will damage your computer you should move it to the trash'. I have read the HP's message boards about this issue, but when I download the 'HP Easy Start' program it does not find any drivers for my scanner. Has HP made my scanner a paper weight? Is there going to be a fix for this driver?
