Samsung Xpress M2875DW
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For years, I could use the Samsung Easy Document Creator to scan documents, but now I keep getting the message

 

I/O error while communicating with the device. Please wait and try scanning again. If it does not help, please turn the device off, then switch it on and wait while it warms up.

 

I have no idea why this has suddenly started. I am still able to print without any problems.

 

I have a Samsung Xpress M2875DW connected to a PC running Windows 10.
