Product: HP Inkjet C1700
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

I have a HP Color Inkjet CP1700, it was working fine enough with CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.12 Driver. But I just updated my IMac OSX from 10.6.8 to 10.11 and now photoshop crashes every time I click on either 'Manage Print Settings' or 'Print’. Can anyone help me get my printer working with my photoshop again? Thank you for your time!

 

I'm an artist and use printer in process of my work regularly.  Hewlett Packard abandoning responsibility to old printer purchasers, cynically trying to incentivise them to buy new printer? This is not a company I will ever buy my next printer again off. A printer driver update is a tiny thing for such a company to remain faithful to, it is a test on their company character if they do or not.
