Product: Office jet pro 9019
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I had trouble setting up my printer when I first bought it and I had to use the help of HP support.

After about 18 months, my printer wants to update itself but when it tries to it says it cannot find the server and it then loses the wifi connection. Each time I have to reset the connection.

I really dont need any updates as the printer does all I want it to do.

I checked in the settings to see if I could turn off the updates but the printer tells me that it was  locked on auto when it was set up and cant be changed.

Any help would be appreciated but please bera im mind that the solution, if any, must be easy to do.
