I recently replaced my router. My printer was being used as a wireless printer. I have had this printer for about 5 years and it has not given me any problems. I rarely use it, but enough, and I am familiar with its operation. Now, I can't print.
The blue network printer indicator light on the printer blinks. I pressed the network indicator button and black print button simultaneously and got a diagnostic printout of information about my printer. The SSID identification on the printout is listing my old router wifi address. A message says: Your HP printer is unable to connect to your wireless router. I don't know how to change the SSID and I believe this is the problem. I've tried so many things that I have lost track. One thing I tried was to download the driver and go through the install process again. I entered the new router information and still my printer is not being recognized. I even tried the virtual chat -- no help. I tried HP Smart -- no help. YouTube videos -- no help. I can't find where I can change the wifi address. I finally just connected a USB cable to print that way. I'm using Windows 10. Please send help!
