HP Recommended

I needed to uninstall the driver because it stopped working. I thought I had kept a copy the last time I downloaded it but didn't find it. The current software on the HP site don't let me install a USB driver. (I tried  HP Smart and also the full driver). The HP Smart software somehow needs wireless to be turned on even to install the USB version of the driver, but then it still doesn't work, only giving an option for the wireless Bonjour driver -- which I don't want.

 

When I tried the full dmg image driver, it wouldn't complete the installation - first an Apple warning screen came up, stating that future versions of the OS wouldn't support this software, and then the driver dmg just stalled, apparently never actually gaining permission to complete the install.

 

Has anyone had any success with this or know if an older version of the USB driver is available anywhere (PhotoSmart 7525)?
