Conexant High Definition Audio cause Windows Explorer Bread Crumb problem on DV9000

My current version of  Conexant High Definition Audio is 4.15.0.50 WIndows Update wants to update it. When I update it I have the following problem when I opened Windows Explorer and click on the first arrow button in the bread crumb and selected Computer. I then click on the Arrow for Computer and selected my Drive D. Drive D appeared in the bread crumb and the Arrow blinked and disappeared. I also tried it using Drive C instead of drive D and the same thing happens.

  

If I roll back to my current driver it works OK.
