DV6883cl video driver for Windows 7 64bit

HP Recommended

I am searching for the graphics card driver for my pavilion dv6883cl laptop. The card is an nvidia card and I just installed Windows 7 Pro today.

Hi,

You've got Nvidia 8400M GS graphic card.

 

1. You may try to install Your original vista driver.

 

Nvidia graphic here.

 

If there will be some kind of problems with installation of this file try compability mode. How to do it all informations here.

 

2. Modded Nvidia drivers ver 186.82.

 

   How to install them under Vista:
   1. Download driver here, double click and select extract,
   2. Download from this site with drivers also INF Modified and replace original INF in extracted folder,
   3. Install & reboot.

 

Before installation of any new driver for graphic uninstall older driver first.

I just went to the nvidia site and had them scan my computer for the appropriate driver. Downloaded, installed, rebooted, and perfect.
