How do I connect 3 HP printers, the 8500A A910, the 7000 E809 and the version of the 8500 which is both A3 and A4 capability.
At the moment I cannot use any of my company's printers with my new laptop which has Windows 8 installed.
The install 'wizard' does NOT allow the HP8500 to work with Windows 8 over a network. When will HP REALLY figure out how to use the printer on Windows 8? It is very troubling that HP is not willing to keep up with current technology.
If you cannot connect to the HP printer the best option is simply to log onto the HP website and look for the solution through downloads of software. I cannot recall exactly where it was last week when I did it, but it is really quite obvious. The download was slow - about 1 to 2 hours - but the results are flawless.
Above is the address for the page on the HP website that will resolve all the issues for all HP printers that do not like Windows 8. To be honest, I am not so happy with Windows 8 at all. I, and many people I know prefer Windows 7. Windows 8 is designed for touch screen use and especially for small appliances. It has caused me a lotof pain lately. Maybe somone cold talk with Bill Gates and let him know that this one is not so good for serious business users.
