Really? Are you sure that the Vista drivers will work in Windxows 7?

If you have already installed Windows 7, there may be a driver in the installation set already.  If not, Nvidia has been pushing out (as expected) buggy drivers for some cards.  Unfortunately, I wouldn't rely on Nvidia at the best of times.  BTW, in answer to your question, the Vista display drivers for both my HP and Toshiba laptops do not work with Windows 7.  They are actually the only drivers for which that can be said.  While I encourage people to fill in the blanks with Vista drivers and saved both the Windows driver folders and swsetup, the display drivers are the one set you should not assume will automatically work....

@SWY

On Nvidia site there are now drivers for Win7.

You've got 8600M so:

Win7 32bit drivers here

Win7 64bit drivers here

If there will be problems below are modded drivers.

How to install them:

1. Download driver 32 bit or 64 bit, double click and select extract,
2. Download modded INF 32 bit or 64 bit and replace original INF in extracted folder,
3. Install & reboot.
