Windows 7 and hp 1275mx

Hello, I purchased the 1275mx laptop in febuary and I just installed windows 7 professional (clean install not upgrade) rtm from the msdn library. Afterwards I seemed to have problems with the IDC high definition audio drivers and just could not get the drivers to install correctly. Then I decided to revert back to vista and do a recovery to restore to factory settings. I found out that I was not able to do so, and I installed the recovery manager software from the hp support page for my laptop then tried again. I still was not able to do a system recovery. I was hoping to get some advice to how I might recover my computer using the system recover software. Take in mind that I do not have access to my recovery discs which I left in my home state and I also installed the 32 bit windows 7 (x86).
