Windows 8 beta Drivers

I have lost my scanning functionality on my printer (cm1312nfi) after installing the Windows 8 beta.  Love the OS, but hate that I can't scan.

Any suggestions?

Re: Windows 8 beta Drivers

I got my windows 7 drivers to work by:

1) Used 7-zip to extract the contents of the installer exe.

2) Downloaded the orca.exe tool from Microsoft for editing msi files.

3) Edited the MSI installer file using orca (edit either 32-bit or 64-bit) depending on your Windows 8 version.  Find the LaunchCondition item in the list and delete.  Save the changes and exit.

4) Launched the reguler EXE setup and it no longer compained about the wrong operating system and everything installed and worked fine.

My printer is the laserjet 3050 so can't guarantee it will work for all.
