I am a high school student. I am keen on installing windows 8 and IM getting a windows 7 computer at Christmas ( a lot cheaper than buying a win 8 one.)

but seeing all of this makes me wonder should i rely.

Help me i don't know if i do it it would stuff out before i get to use it at all.

Ps I will be upgrading it straight away (not changing the settings and all that)

Re: Worry

If you're a student, your time is better spent focusing on your studies.

I'd go with purchasing a new Win 8 system to avoid having to back up data, upgrade, install drivers, re-install apps, etc
