how can i get my win 8 upgraded to Win 10?

Hi,

While windows 10 is still a technical preview, the option to upgrade to this OS will not appear in Windows Updates - you can install it via the Microsoft page on the following link, but do bear in mind that this is 'a work in progress' so you may find some things don't work correctly.

Note:  If you haven't done so already, be sure to create your set of Recovery Media as installing Windows 10 TP will most likely break the functionality of the recovery partition - see the guide on the link below.
