Solved!
can you identify this unknown hardware device by its hardware ID?
09-07-2009 02:59 PM

(On a TX-2 1027-CA tablet running windows 7 RTM) I have one device that cannot locate its driver software.
Under the device property, hardware id, there are two values:
USB\VID_1B96&PID_0001&REV_0000&MI_02
USB\VID_1B96&PID_0001&MI_02
If you have the technical resource available, could you help me identify the device and possibly find a Windows 7 RTM (or Vista) compatible driver?
Thanks very much.

After installing all optional updates from windows update, another device appears unknown!
ACPI\ENE0100
*ENE0100
Hopefully you recognize these devices, and ideally can send a link to the driver....

N-Trig DuoSense Digitizer Software and Driver here
ACPI\ENE0100

Thanks very much for the correct identifications!
I found the first CIR (consumer infrared receiver) driver installed fine.
The driver for the N-Trig DuoSense Digitizer was designed for 32 bit OS, so it wouldn't install.
However, with the name and manufacturer you provided, I was able to find 64 bit Beta drivers on the N-Trig site.
Onward ho!
