Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I try to find answer on line and get no where what to do. So I have a HP Window 7 Laptop and I NEED a new batery. I got a new chagrer to see if it was that but it not. On my PC it said "No chagrer Battery is Detected" and I try unintelled and reintelled and that did not change anything then try getting a new chagrer and that did not change anything. Current I can only used my laptop with the chagrer plug in. So I need a new Battery the thing is the bottom part has NO way to open it. No screw, No square parts NOTHING. What do I do to to put a new battery in it?

The Model Number is 7260NGW

As I said my battery is NOT working. If my chager is not plug in it does not  turn on it said "No battery is detected"

No

I try everything I can and I don't get an asnwer about this issure. Or how I can change my battery.

If you continue facing the issue, I recommend you contact HP phone support to check the available service options for your computer as it may be an issue with the battery or the connector.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with the phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

I recommend you download and install HP support assistant from the below link and it will automatically download and install all the latest drivers available for your computer.

Here is how it is done.

  1. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.

    Click Updates in the My notebook pane

  2. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.

     Updates list in HP Support Center

  3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.

  4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.

  5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

  6. Perform any other update management actions as needed.

    • Postpone an update: Click Remind me, and then select a time preference.

    • Delete an available update: Click the Delete icon  to remove the update from the list and record it in the action log.

    • Review updates status: Click Action log below the list to view installed, postponed, or deleted updates.

Please use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

 

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp

Step 2. Sign in / sign in as a guest

Step 3. Enter the product number or select to auto detect

Step 4. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 5. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number and phone number appear.
