HP Pavilion x360 Laptop Dead and Not Charging

HP Recommended
Pavilion x360

My laptop won’t turn on and the charging light won’t come on when I plug it in.

I’ve already tried different outlets and holding down the power button for extended periods of time. I don’t see how to remove the battery without using a screwdriver, which is currently unavailable. I suspect the update has something to do with this.

I would like an answer ASAP since a lot of my work is saved on here.

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to HP support community.

Check with an alternate power adapter or another wall outlet.

Battery is non-removable on all x360 models

If another wall outlet or adapter doesn't work or charge the device, this could be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
