OneDrive is using up all my storage on my tablet. I have 50 gb of data on onedrive. I do not want all my OneDrive files on my tablet. How do I prevent my storage to be filled up by OneDrive.

Thanks

OneDrive is a service provided by Microsoft Office.

You can make use of "OneDrive Files 0n-Demand" to allow you access to your data without having it take up space on your local machine (your computer).

This article is explains how 'On-Demand" works, the requirements, and what you need to do to configure the OneDrive software.

Microsoft - Save disk space with OneDrive Files On-Demand for Windows 10

You also have control over which folders are saved ("synced") to OneDrive - you may decide, for example, that you want to save your files in your Documents and Pictures folders to OneDrive but (that) you do not need to save "everything" in your account.

Microsoft - Choose which OneDrive folders to sync to your computer

If you would like to do so, because you would need more help or if you would like to have the explanation presented in a different format, you can find more help on the subject.

Use your favorite browser and search engine to search the Internet for "onedrive save space" - select an article, blog, video, or document that can help you better understand what to do and how the process works.

Having only a single copy of your data is only a single step away from losing it...

If you do have any data that is critical to you, consider backing up that data to at least one other location -- that is, make a backup .   You know... just in case.
