Pavilion dv7-4177nr
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a pavilion DV7-4177nr with a cracked corner on the bottom cover. I'm trying to get a part number for that bottom cover so i can order the correct one. all the covers on line look the same with different part numbers... any help would be appreciated 

this unit keeps shutting down after a few hours and is heated up on the left side fan works and I have a cooler that the laptop sits on....no one will take it apart with the cracked bottom cover

NOTE: You might have to replace the entire bottom bezel.

I looked on the parts list mentioned and shows 2 part numbers 605345-001 and 615443-001 (that has a note silver model)

any functional difference between the two part numbers? will both work on my unit and are they still avail from HP

You can purchase all the replacement parts available for your computer from the HP part surfer.

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.
