I just spent close to an hour on the phone with a "specialist" for the lag issue. Says is escalating to "Tier 2 support"...been months reporting this issue with no fix in sight. No known firmware being developed. He wanted to do all the things that have been done before, like pick up the device, re-image, etc.

He sent me an email with a diagnostics application to run and then return the results to him.  I'll let you know what happens next.

It would be a great workaround if HP would simply make it possible to downgrade the BIOS back to 1.07

BUMP!

(As it is avery bumpy experience currently using touch on this tablet. HP, you call this "Professional"? Shame on you.)

Yes. There is still no resolution, and by this point, I suppose HP just does not care. It is clearly a simple fix to post a new BIOS that simply allows downgrading to a previous BIOS, but they won't do it. I have to believe that in reality the actual decision makers may not even be aware that there is an issue since the support people are in India with probably little or no actual interaction with the former.

Guess. Its cheaper and easier for them to give u a new one with an old BIOS.
Ill ring my (local) HP tomorrow to ask about a new fw and a new pen. Mine is crap it keeps disconnecting

I have the pen. I found the battery doesn't last long, and that degrades responsiveness. Further, have to push rather hard to maintain a pen stroke. Sucks.

Same here. My pen works for about 1 minute. After I have 2 remove the battery for being able to use if for another minute... How long can u use yours without losing a stroke?
