HP pavillion 2in1 touchscreen
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I've just purchased a new 2in1 laptop/touchscreen tablet with windows and office personal 365.
After using word with the touchscreen draw option the laptop switched (after a period of inactivity) to a screensaver picture I haven't seen before and now I can't get into the laptop. I've tried switching on/off pressing escape etc. and nothing is happening.
My mouse marker is visible and the touchscreen is working - ie I can see the track of my finger.
But the usual welcome messages or space to enter my pin are not visible. I'm at a loss and its only a week old.
help!!

Hello, @Stuckscot – Greetings!

Welcome to the HP Forum! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!

I understand that your new HP laptop is stuck on the screen saver. Try to perform a hard reset to try and fix this issue. Performing a power reset might fix conditions such as Windows not responding, a blank display, software freezing, keyboard stops responding, or other external devices locking up.

You can follow the steps here: http://hp.care/2odKswy

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Cheers 🙂
