You can't tell by looking. Externally they would be the same. That's why all SATA is interoperational. You have to check the specifications of the product or sometimes it will be labeled as SATA 2 or SATA 3.

hellow sir Sir m from Pakistan and there is no service of amazon for online shoping.and delivering of new ssd to Pakistan has been  stoped.no new ssd are available in all markets .only used ssd are available.sir should i buy used ssd.will it perform my requirement.

sir i bought new kingston ssd and put in place of hdd and put hdd in place of dvd room.but there is no option in boot menu for selection kingston ssd to set as primary.it still booting from hdd.

my laptop is set ahci by default.

i placed hdd in caddy in place of dvd and ssd in place of hdd.

but the problem is the caddy is not recognizing by  Hp 2000-2d36TU Notebook Pc  the boot option is predefine i mean the boot option is aet by default but some time it accept the caddy and show the hdd but after one day when i turn on the laptop it again goes to down state i mean not showing up.

is there any problem with caddy.my hdd health is good.

the left side image is caddy and other side is dvd.

why it some time it accept showing up the hdd but some time do not show
