Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

I recently bought an hp pavilion it’s been working great and I love it, but I just realized that the microphone is not working properly. I realized there was something wrong when I tried to voice activate Cortana. I did everything that was recommended to try to fix this but nothing is working.

when I try to record anything, the only thing that is recorded is a loud distortion-kind-of-sound.

my laptop has B&O audio control (I’m not sure if that has to do with anything)

Thank you for your help!
