The problem is we have 4 Poly Rove phones, each with its own extension.
Line 1 rings over to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4.
If a call is in progress on 1, and 3 picks up an incoming call, call on line 1 is placed on hold. The call from 1 is conferenced into line 3, then the call is then disconnected.
Any suggestions on how to reprogram the call logic to prevent this?
The incident was described as: "Phones are automatically putting people on hold and then disconnecting the call. They are missing calls. They can answer, then the system puts them on hold, connects the first call to another call, and then disconnects all callers."
The callers are remote to me, so I don't have the phones readily available. I'm looking for some guidance or hints for getting this fixed.
