I recently got a eliteboook 820 G3 with a 2013 ultraslim docking station, with windows 10 professional. I use bose quite comfort headphones for audio from the notebook. When I connect my headphones with the audio port on the docking station, the sound quality is poor. The sound is hollow and lacks depth, particularly for the voice and audio calls.  When connected to the audioport on the notebook, the sound quality is perfect. 

 

I have tried adjusting the B&O sound app, and toggled it on and off. But the sound quality from the port on docking station does not improve. I also tried using different headphones (apple earpods) with the docking station but the sound continues to be poor. 

 

Looking forward to a solution to this issue. Lack of audio compatibility will render my docking station only partially useful, as a use my notebook to make a lot of conference calls.
