So I have been experiencing an issue with laptop keys 'sticking' during gaming (seems to apply to all keys on the keyboard, I've observed it on the zxc, arrow, and wasd keys) where even on casual games like Terraria or Starbound, holding down a key will frequently cause it to kind of get locked up (the computer thinks a key is still being pressed, even after it has been released). This effectively makes gaming on this computer an impossibility, as you can't really move around properly. I noticed it happening when I got the computer in 2015, but thought a fix would be released by now. Also, this is OS independent, so don't give me something like "is the Windows 'sticky keys' setting turned on." This is a fundamental problem with the system UEFI BIOS and/or the keyboard IO controller, a fix REALLY needs to be released here. And before you ask, I am running the very latest BIOS version F.45 for this computer. I encourage anyone with an original-gen (2015 or 2016) HP Spectre x360 to try playing a casual game, it happens almost CONSTANTLY and is very reproducible.

I have been experiencing this 'sticking' keys behavior in virtually every game ever since I bought the Spectre x360 4102dx in 2015. It doesn't just happen on Windows, either. Gaming on Ubuntu/Linux, I run into the EXACT same problem with keys sticking during gaming, regardless of the game. HP appears to ship computers with a defective BIOS and doesn't seem to care or fix the problem in BIOS updates. Heck, even people running that updated BIOS for the HP Omen that supposedly fixes the problem have reported that the issue still happens.

This renders games very nearly unplayable, which is a downright disgrace. It seems consistent across HP's laptop lineup for over two years now: I have read reports of this also happening on Pavilion, Omen, and Envy machines. I have NEVER had this problem on a Dell or Lenovo computer, and frankly I think it's a SERIOUS problem that needs to be fixed, or I'm ditching HP completely. I am extremely dissatisfied with my purchase. By the time I discovered this issue, it was too late to return the machine. I've even had the entire system board, heatsink, and keyboard (basically the whole bottom chassis) replaced by HP repair, but this same issue persists. For anyone looking to but an HP machine and even ATTEMPT casual gaming...you're in for a nasty surprise with no solution. Don't buy an HP laptop if you want to game on it, period. This is SO unbelievable that they haven't addressed the issue in over two years. For a $1500 machine, this is COMPLETELY unacceptable.

Is there any hope for HP to fix this problem in a BIOS update in the future? Please help, this needs some professional attention
