Hello,
I have a HP Pavilion Notebook 15, running Windows 8.1 64 bit and recently have been receiving a message stating that when my battery is connected to the AC Adapter, it is "plugged in, not charging". This only occurs sometimes and if I unplug and reinsert the AC Adapter, it will eventually solve the issue. However, I would like to solve this issue before it becomes more serious.
I recently had my computer looked at and cleaned under the guise of maintenance as I have had it for over 2 years or so now. I have attempted to try different AC Adapters, different batteries, and have run the HP Support Assistant battery check, which at first yielded no issues, but now says "battery status unknown, unable to access the battery".
What should my next step be in order to solve this issue? At this point, I feel that the issue is within the laptop itself rather than with the AC Adapter or with the battery.
