Recently my laptop has been experiencing issues. It started with the laptop not finding any wireless connections at all. This was certainly due to the laptop, because other devices could find numerous networks. I tried restarting the laptop to see if it would resolve the issue, but the laptop did not reboot. It just displays the loading screen with the HP logo for all eternity.
I have made numerous attempts at getting the laptop to start up properly, and I have been able to get it to boot up twice (I'm still not sure exactly how). Both times, however, my wireless connection would die after a while and trying to boot the laptop afterwards had the same effect; it would not boot.
I have followed some troubleshooting guides (like this one), which led me to reset my BIOS (which did absolutely nothing) and return the PC to a previous state (which worked in getting it to start up, but did not resolve the actual issue).
One time when I shut the PC down, I got a "driver power state failure" BSOD error.
I do not know what to try anymore, and my laptop is really dear to me, so I hope that someone can help me.
