Hello,

I bought a laptop a while back that contains both an Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 and a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 950M (2GB GDDR5 dedicated) graphics cards.

I also have the following:

  • i7 6700HQ @ 2.6 GHz, quad-core
  • 12 GB RAM

Is it possible for me to upgrade the GPU to a higher up version of the 900M series (such as the 970M or 980M)? I'm aware this could breach the warranty, it's more a question of possibility. I thought it may be possible since they are separate as is.

Thanks in advance!

Edit:

Also, is it even possible to buy one of the graphics cards separately?
