Hello everyone,
I have a problem similar to the original post and thought you might be able to help.
Product Name: z400 workstation
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I followed the procedure posted by Paul_Tikkanen (thank you very much for helping 🙂 ) but after choosing File->System-ROM-Flash->Choose Drive (USB) I get the message Drive is wrong/missing (translated approximately from German). When I go to Storage->Device-Configuration, I see the USB as 8.17GB, Generic Flash Drive, Firmware 8.07. I formatted it to FAT32 and named it EFI. I am sadly out of ideas and am thus asking for help.
Any help is deeply appreciated,
Lukas Köstler
Note: I am going through this to install Windows 10. I know that this machine was running Windows (I guess 7) sometime before but I killed the drive. I was running Ubuntu 18.04 installed by the standard USB drive without a problem for half a year now.
I am happy to provide any additional information necessary.
