Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After updating my laptop a few days ago, I noticed that there wasn't any sounds when I was watching a movie. I increased the volume on both the laptop and media player (both VLC and Windows media player) but there still wasn't any sound. I tried plugging in my earphones to see if something might happen but nothing did. I checked my speakers and it sad "Speakers (EPSON procector *something* *something*)" and I don't remember it ever saying that. We don't own any epson devices nor was I near a device during that time. I tried a bunch of online recommendation and eventually opened device manage and I got so frustrated that I deleted it hoping it would restore back to my old sound drive. But after restarting, there's no sounds and the icon just displays no sounds, even with earphones plugged in, it still can't read it.
