Please help!  I’ve dealt with this issue for over a year.

I have an HP desktop, connected to a Samsung TV I use for a monitor.

About a year ago, seemingly out of nowhere, my screen started to auto-resize / change it’s resolution.  I’ll use my TV remote to make sure the screen is centered.  Then, about 15 minutes later, regardless if I’m using that computer or not - the screen will resize.  There will be a flash, and it’ll resize.  My QuickStart icons I have pinned at the bottom of the screen will only be about half visible (half on the screen, half off).  The windows I have open....the whole upper half will be obscured.

I have been through all the display setting on the desktop a million times, to no avail.  Finally a few months ago, I stumbled upon - and I can’t temrmber the name of this to save my life - another HP branded program on the computer that specialized in the display, and I was able to lock in a display and fix it.

The problem?  Windows 10 updated last night.  Now, the screen is back to auto resizing, and I cannot find this “HP branded program” that I used before to fix this issue.  It’s almost like the Windows 10 update removed it from my desktop.

Any thoughts on this?  I have been all over the display settings!

Thanks so much!
