Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Following the windows 10 update I lost sound. I have tried for weeks to restore it, but still have no sound. I have even down loaded pc hardware diagnostics. When run, the message states “device not found”. If I go to device manager, or sound manager, again “device not found”.
Well I did not crack open the case and take the device out, so what did it do, pack its bags and sneak out while I was sleeping? And, the microphone device no longer works either. Perhaps the two devices eloped!
Very frustrating! How do I get the computer to once again recognize the sound and microphone devices???
