Pavilion 17-g078ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi There,

I have a HP Pavilion 17-g078ca laptop that the battery status is indicating 100% available (plugged in, Charging).

I have taken the battery out, plug ac in and restarting the laptop. uninstall the two files under the battery folder with device manager. did a shut down and then inserted the battery again and booted the laptop.

The battery is still is still stating the same after charging up again.

Do you think i need a new battery for the laptop?  What else can i do?

thanks

Keith
