Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have purchased HP Pavilion 14-ce1001tx very recently. This problem has been from the start. When I am watching a video (on device player like VLC or Potplayer) and I pause it, to do something else on my device (other than playing some other video or audio) and then play the video back after a while (more than 30 seconds approximately), there is 2 seconds lag in the audio. Its quite frustrating given I have just purchased this device and you expect it to run perfectly atleast for an year. I have seen another question on this forum explaining similar problem but the solution given by HP didn't solve my problem.
