Hewlett-Packard HP Compaq 8200 Elite SFF PC
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

today i upgraded my memory in my 8200 from 8 gigabits(2x4)PC3 12800-1333 to 16 gigabits(4x4)PC3 12800-1600 which was the recommended upgrade from 4 different computer memory sellers. But the system, although faster, still only says it has only 8 gig's and the speed still says 1333 MHz.  I'm running windows 8.1 professional 64 bit . according to HP this unit will run 32 gigabits of DDR3 memory. i was going to get the 4x 8 gigabit chips to max the memory out, but if it doesn't read/acknowledge the 16 gigabits that i just upgraded it to , i'm glad i didn't get them yet .the BIOS is upgraded to the latest version J01;2011. is there something that needs to be change in the set up to allow the memory to read  whats in it ,or some download from HP that opens the system to allow the maximum memory to show correctly?  any help would be great .
