Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710

I own two HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 and neither will recognize or accept non HP replacement ink cartridges.  From my understanding, HP lost the lawsuit that prevents the restriction of forcing only use of their replacement cartridges.  However, I am still unable to use non HP cartridges despite the software update.  


I have tried just about everything I read on chats to adjust setting, etc and nothing.  What do you recommend to get HP to acknowledge and fix this issue with my printers.  The are non functional unless I spent 4x to purchase their cartridges.  How are they not being held accountable?
