Hey,
English is not my native language so please bare with me.
I bought this laptop two months ago for work, and my plan was to use my two external monitors at home through the HP Thunderbolt G2 dock with Combi cable. The computer works perfectly fine on it's own but as soon as i connect it to my dock it crashes sporadically (worthy mention is that when i plug my HDMI from the monitor directly into my laptop it also crashes, ruling out a faulty dock). In the log it says "kernel-power id 41 task 63", but i haven't been able to identify a solution.
I've tried multiple suggestions to resolve this issue both from this forum and other sources with no success, hence why i'm here.
Among the things i've tried;
-Set my Graphics options in BIOS to Discrete
-Change HZ and resolution on my screens
-Update relevant drivers (graphics, bios, dock - you name it)
-Set power settings to never to idle
-Set setting where the computer doesen't restart when it crashes.
-Done tests on my memory and hardware
I'm out of ideas and partially hope.
Please help!
